Most third-party apps and Chrome extensions download MP3s from Suno, then convert them to WAV. That's not true lossless audio — it's just a bigger file with the same compressed quality. Suno does offer true lossless WAV, but only through their web UI (not via API). Our Premium tier uses a browser agent to get you the real thing.

Notice the cutoff at ~16kHz. This is the telltale sign of MP3 compression. The audio was encoded as MP3 first (which discards frequencies above ~16kHz), then wrapped in a WAV container. You get a larger file, but the same compressed audio.
